PaCKing TimE

Well, as the month is coming to an end so is my stay here in NY. This weekend I will embark on a new adventure and drive down to Texas for the 1st part of my move. I am so anxious, to get down there and see all my friends and start this process already. I have everything just sitting in a corner in my mothers dinning room waiting to be packed into my car. We only a little over a handful of weeks left till the boys come home and life to start up again.

Tomorrow marks my 2 year wedding anniversary.
We never had a real wedding and we spent our actually wedding day in Buffalo Wild Wings.
But I will always remember the Kanye West T-shirt Mr. wore and the look in his eyes when we said our vows.
I love him with all my heart and cant believe how fast time is going. I cant wait to celebrate our special day together when he gets home and many more anniversaries are to come. Ill miss him but know the wait will be worth it.

DiD i HEar ReDepLoYment

Yup that's right folks its that time redeployment time. As I'm sitting here writing this right now I'm listening to a meeting going on down in Ft. Hood. I couldn't help but tear up when the Rear D announcer said it was one of the last town meeting because and I quote "They are coming home". Those have been the best words I have heard in about a good 10 months. This deployment was easier than the 1st but still definitely has taken a tool on me. There is a light at the end of this tunnel ..... Brave Rifles.

O BilLY ?!?

Happy Mother's Day to all my Mommies out there. I envy you in many ways. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Mine was jammed pack with oodles of fun events. Well one major and several side missions.

Friday Night we Went to the METS game. Lisa Found a sick deal on the Internet for $27 dollar tickets with a $12 food allowance. Obviously we couldn't pass it up so off we went. She picked me up from work and got there just in time for the 1st pitch. We were more concerned with food than the game at our time of arrival.

View from our Seats.
Most normal Picture I got.

After several trips to the bathroom and food stands. The METS won and we had a blast just laughing and enjoying the free food we got with our tickets.

Saturday was filled with doctors appointment s all morning. I had to get a shot for school because I can't register unless I got it. Then I was off to pic up Miss Lisa for a quick walk by the shore.

We were joined by a few feather friends

It was such a pretty day I couldn't help myself but take pictures of this great city. Overall we walked about 3 hours straight. Walking took the place of my daily work out. We were pooped by the end we had to head over to KOHLS and best buy for Zumba. Well, not for us but for our Mommies. We both bought our mother's Zumba for our game systems for mommies day. I couldn't wait to give it to her I wound up giving it to her as I walked in the door.
She loved it of course ")

Earlier in the week I just couldn't help myself and purchased some new nail polish. Rite Aid was having a serious sale so I just had a little fun.

Overall it wasn't the best weekend a girl could have but I was OK. I'm wrapping up my stay here in NY plus ill be gone one weekend in between. the anticipation is killing me softly. The stress level is rising and there are things I just wish could be done already cant. But we shall see the future holds....

Happy Mommies day <3

MilSpoUse Day

Remember tomorrow is Milspouse day ladies! YaY us!

ObaMa maMa

Im on the train and I'm riding with anticipation of today's events. Today Obama will be by the World Trade Center for most of the morning so the city is on grip lock and high alert. NY is like no other place in the world, and when the city mean high alert it means Hightower alert. All the major train stations are covered in swat and national guard teams. Yea it's like a scene from the movies but there's just a sense of safe and calmness that comes over the city when the boys are out and about. Every one is so hyped of the weekends occurrences, bit the mission just got more real. Now it's the real question what's next? Who next?

I am proud to call myself a military spouse and to say my husband is out there making a difference in the war on terror. He takes his job seriously and I take shots against the military personally. So whats a girl to do but support the most important person in her life and shout a big hooah when the president says we are closer to our goal. I don't find myself to be very knowledgeable when it comes to politics but I support every move that President Obama has made in his years of office. I don't classify myself as a republican or democrat. I am an American. The president is the president because we the people voted him into office. So who am I to question his judgment or that of his piers. Obviously he is doing something right or there would be a lot more heartbreak being felt around this beautiful country.

Wish me luck on getting to work on time ;)

WoRk It Out

Well, I Just finished my 1st work out of the week. I have been doing so bad on my diet these last 2 days. I practically ate everything that wasn't bolted down in my kitchen last night here's my list :

1. Person Pizza (Frozen)
2. Hummus and pretzels
3. bite size m&m packet
4. Ice cream
5. Chips
6. Juice.

In a matter of 4 hours is ridiculous. I haven't eaten that much since I left Ft. Hood I completely binged and hated myself after. I don't know what got into me. Toddy I had Special K for breakfast and then a pizza roll for lunch. I came home to Pasta and another m&m packet. I must be PMSing because there is no excuse for the no self control.
I must do good for the rest of the month if I want to be anywhere near my goal.

So to make up I of course went into my Jillian Michael's Collection and pulled out

Tomorrow's another day. Ill eat better and work out like it's no ones business.

CheE Who ?

Well its been a hot minute since I've actually written something. I have had literally been on the go between work and working out I'm just way to tired to do anything but sit on my free time. I have lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks which I figured would be my average weight loss. Our report date to Ft. Benning is closer than expected so that mean he might be sent home way earlier than expected. AKA time to kick it in full gear. There is talks about me moving home earlier and now that leaves me with no road trip buddy. My best friend cant take off before the actual date we were supposed to leave. No, I'm on the hunt again for a passenger. I actually found one for the end of May this past weekend. My little cousin Cristina is coming with me for Memorial Day. Due to the fact we have been spending more time with each other I'm pretty excited. This past weekend we manage to go bowling with some of my other cousins for our monthly hang out session.

Sat. was filled with more family time. My father had his two brothers over and my cousin Kimberly and her parents came to join us for dinner. My fathers family is more present in my life now more than ever. I cant believe I missed all those years of not seeing them. I couldn't ask for a better time these last few weeks. I swear its like we grew up next door to each other. Sunday was another fun filled day of family time. It was my Grandmother birthday so we took her out to lunch. Lunch turned out to be a visit to Target then Lunch, but over all a nice after noon. Toward the evening I picked up my little cousin and headed over to CheeBurger CheeBurger with Lisa.

Obviously I didn't eat with them do to my adventures earlier but they enjoyed a nice burger with all the amenities the restaurant had to offer.

Mr. is so close that I'm feeling a little anxiety. I just hope these next 2 months go as planned. As we get closer to the end more things need to get done an I don't want to stop working to far in advance because I rather save as much money as possible. Especially living on post is going to be more expensive than living off post. I just hope our house is pretty.

This week is going to be filled with last minute check ups for myself and my car. Im making sure the car is in check for ride number one this week. Then 3 weeks till blast off. I also need to make sure my health is in check so I will be making several stops along the week. Hopefully all this poking and prodding wont interrupt my workouts.

Hope ya'll have a great week !
