Day 19 - Post a picture of his favorite show and tell of one episode you watched with him

We loved almost every episode. Before he deployed we watched almost every episode. Between the suspense and thrill and drama that we couldn't stop watching. I miss those nights doing nothing but being wrapped in each others arms laughing about what was happening on our tiny flat screen.

O bRoThEr

Hey y'all sorry I've been crazy busy at work these last 2 weeks due to coming to the end of 1 st. quarter. I had to go this past weekend to clean up my desk. It's so bad that I even took one of my little angels with me.

Well I know I've been slacking with my passages about mr. I plan on updating that later tonight but here's whats been going on. We hit the 8th month mark meaning 3/4 of this deployment is over. I have about 13 weeks left in this big old city and I'm off to Killeen Texas. Meaning I need to get as much family time in as possible before I leave. My fathers side of the family is hurting really bad right now. My uncle unfortunately suffers from alzheimer's . He recently fell at the rehab center he was living and suffered a brain injury. My cousins finally made an executive decision which led to taking him off the life support late yesterday. Now we are waiting to see what happens. My heart breaks for his children and my father. I don't know what I would do without my daddy. But all we can do now is pray and wait to see what happens.

This past week my middle angel revived her 8th grade ring which is a milestone for her and anxiety attack for me. She will be attending High school next year at FHA which I'm extremely proud of because I am an Alumni.

I just can't believe how fast time is going. I remember picking her up from preschool and now she off to high school. I'm just glad I will be getting to see her graduate and be there for her birthday and dance recital. I swear these kids literally grew up in the blink of an eye.

I have also been feeling a bit overwhelmed lately. It's not like my responsibilities have changed or I have taken on to much I just have so much on my mind I'm about to burst. I have started to go back to therapy and I finally found someone I like. I'm sad that our session will stop at the end of my stay here because I feel extremely comfortable with him. I know your probably thinking therapy what is she crazy. Sometimes you have to admit to yourself it's ok to feel what you are feeling and seek help. Help dose not always have mean medication or something extreme, I just need to let out some of my frustrations an therapy is defiantly the answer.

Tomorrow will mark exactly 3 month till I move so here is my to do list.

1. Get small things for the house I.e. New dinner ware, sheets, towels, bathroom and kitchen accessories.

2. Lose 15 more or plus pounds

3. Find a new job

4. Figure Out what to do next in life.

5. Plan vacation

6. Send thank you cards out.

7. Get house ready for Mr.'s arrival

8. Find dress for homecoming day

9. Find dress for Military Ball

10. Wait and Wait for it to be over

I'm lucky I have the girls back at Hood. Some are waiting my arrival. I'm driving down in a few weeks for a visit and to drop of one of my cars. I plan on stating with a friend and soaking up every moment before I embark on another military wife adventure. As soon as I get back it's packing and making sure everything is ready to move back and rolling with the punches. I just started a new friendship with another mil spouse and we have plans already that will defiantly keep us occupied till the boys get home.

Well off to work have a good day ladies

LOok At Me MonDay

linK up here with Mrs @ mannland5

Here are this week's questions:

1. What inspires you?
It's going to sound silly but my baby cousins do. They make me want to be the best role model for them. This world scares me and the possibilities that it has are endless. These little girls make me want to be the best person I can be and reach my full potential.

2. What is the last thing you bought yourself?
I just bought a dress from H&M. Mr.s cousin's baby shower is next weekend its perfect for the occasion.

3. Would you rather watch a movie in a theater or from the comfort of your own home?
Mr. and I go to the movies every Sunday when he is home its our date night. But o do we love our netflix :)

4. Household chore you don't mind doing?
I don't mind cleaning the bathroom and my bedroom I hate cleaning the kitchen ug..

5. Coffee or tea?
Depends on my mood .. mostly coffee though

6. What could you eat every day and not get sick of?
Oatmeal .. yummm

7. What's the last book you read?
"House Rules" Jodi Picoult

8. Do you think you "look" your age?
It all depends there are days when I look older than I am and others wen I look like I'm to young to be married and living the life I do. All my station people think I'm in my 30s when they hear me talk because I don't talk like a regular 23 year old should nor do I live the life of a 23 year old. :)

Day 15 - post a picture of your SO during your proudest moment of him

The day MR. re-enlisted and bow to sever the army for another 6 years of his life was probably the proudest moment in our relationship. I believe his commitment to this country is the most selfless act anyone can have.
I know he will do great anywhere the ARMY sends him and I cant wait to see what the future holds for him as a soldier and us as a couple.

Day 16 (March 6th) – post a picture of your favorite piece of jewelry that your man has gotten you and why it is your favorite!

Love's Embrace™ 10K White Gold 1/15 Carat Diamond Necklace

I got this necklace for my 22nd birthday I love how dainty it is but it still makes people say how beautiful it is.

Day 13 – post a picture of your favorite military support accessory and tell where you got it from.

Reading everyones blog and the responses I get from other Mil spouse bloggers and knowing that I'm not the only one feeling this way is probably the best support a Mil souse can get. I love that I can log on type away and get a "you're not alone" I know Im not but sometimes I need someone toy shake me and let me know they are here too.

Day 14 – post a picture of what consumes most of your time when your s/o is away

I love my job. I live for my husband and family but I breath my job. I love what I do and i'm good at it. I hate it sometimes and I get an anxiety attack at least 4 times a year aka every new quarter, but there is something about my job that has me obsessed. Im grateful because my life is so fast pace due to work this deployment will be over by the next anxiety attack and I'm looking forward to it.

1. What is your must have gadget?

my IPhone. Ill be first to admit i was a blackberry girl I was so anti IPhone but Mr. got me one when he was on R& R and let me tell you I'm addicted to the darn thing. Not only can I skype with it but it has so many cool features I don't think one can possible see them all in a life time.

2. How does your adulthood compare to what you imagined it would be like when you were a little kid?

Actually its kinda close. I always wanted to join the military growing up. It's always been something I had on top of my list. I even went as far as taking the ASVAB and talking to a few recruiters. But I married into the military and now I am on a even greater adventure than I imagined.

3. What is your favorite chocolate recipe?
Chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt please

4. How do you deal with military life when it gets to be too much or too hard?
I talk to a few wives about it and my friend Lisa but I mostly try to deal with it by myself. Talking about it helps but even tough 1000 other women are going through the pain of separation and frustration no one can take it away.

5. What piece of advice would you give a new military spouse facing their first deployment? Be patient thats the only thing you can do. Even when you want to kick and scream and cry and shout the only thing you can do is be patient. He will come home to you soon enough. Don't sweet the little fights, money comes and goes, theres no one else like him out there so don't lose it over a Deployment especially because if your man does what mine does you never know the outcome. Keep him close to your heart and be patient.

I love this book because this is what Mr. wants to be one day. He live the Army Values because he wants to exceed others

Expectations and experience the real Army and what it has to offer. I support his ambitions fully and cant wait to see what is to

come next.
